Have you tried the Wii Active game yet?

All I have to say is OW! I am sooooo sore!  I have been doing it for 3 days and it is a pretty good workout- I'm really surprised. Plus they make it fun--- great combo! :)

  • I'm a little past half way the 30-day challenge, and I really like it. i'm definitly seeing results. I don't loath my body nearly as much as I did 2 weeks ago. Wink

    I am augmenting it with the Fit. I felt the Active didn't target the abs as much as I wanted so usually after I'm done with theActive I'll do some Jackknifes and a couple of the Yoga poses, and on the rest days I'll do about a 15-20 min of Yoa/running on the Fit.

     I've been doing it for a little over a week now. I agree, it doesn't target the abs almost at all. I do crunches afterward. 

  • Love it!  Lost 10 pounds the first 30 day challenge and I'm on day 7 of the 2nd 30 day challenge.  I also supplement it with the Wii Fit on my "rest days".

  • Would you ladies recommend it for pregnant women? Thanks!
  • I would hesitate to. Some of the moves are simple enough, but some I imagine would be pretty hard with a bump or just be too much for a pregnant women. I would stick to the Fit's exercises for now, where you can pick and choose what exercises you want to do and at what intensity. You should probably talk to your doc before doing the Active. I think it would be great afterwards to get back into shape though.
