Can we have our cake and eat it too? LOL
So, the top tier of the cake... who is saving it for the anniversary?
We had ours specially preserved (airtights seals etc..) by the baker, but I want to have it for our 6 month anniversary dinner in Jamaica, what do you think?
Re: Wedding Cake!!
I wish!
Due to a catastrophic caterer snafu, we had no cake. She was evil, but I'm over it
I'm thinking of having a small version of what our cake should have looked like made for our 1 year anniversary, more for me than for my husband
Crisi, I think it''s a great idea in theory but, wonder if it will work because of 1) the thawing you mentioned or 2) airline regulations about bringing food in flight (especially international flights). Will they allow you to bring it? I'd hate to hear that it would have to be discarded at the airport.
We did save 1/2 of our top tier (it was huge!) and have it well wrapped and frozen for our one year anniversary.
