Me: What?
DS1: Can I get dreads?
Me: What?
DS1: Can I get dreads?
Me: No. Dreads are nasty.
DS1: I like them and I really want to get them. Why don't you like them
Me: To me they look like dirty and like you are to lazy to comb your hair.
DS1: They really are a lot of work. They have special shampoo you use and everything.
Me: Absolutly not. If you come home with dreads I swear I will get the dog clippers out and shave your head bald.
DS1: But it's my hair. Why can't I get dreads?
Me: I told you already. Also dude white guys with dreads look stupid.
DS1: UGH fine.

Dreds, ugh. Those things are gross. if he ever wants to get/keep a girlfriend, it would be in his best interests to keep that hair clean.
