chas ladies.. some help :)
It's official, my husband and I will be moving to Chas August 1st! Currently looking for an apartment to rent- preferibly 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom, pets allowed (we have a 5lb yorkie). i am working right in johns island and my husband is working from a home office.. any ideas on where to look? we were thinking johns island or james island, but i also hear west ashley may be feasible.. but heard some sections are nice, and some are ghetto- which scares me.
Anyways, not sure if we're going to be able to make it down before our move, or if we will have to do everything by pictures, sq. footage and room dimensions alone.... but just curious as to if you had any ideas for us since you ladies are more familiar with the area.
ideally, we would love to rent a home, but if need be an apartment complex will have to work..

There are nice and not so nice parts to nearly every neighborhood.
John's Island and Mount Pleasant are my 2 favorite areas. When we got our apt. we hired a realtor and Dh flew down one weekend to look at places and secured housing. I'm glad we did it that way because some of the places looked great online, but when he walked in, they were not very nice.
