Hi Girls!
Well.... I got the job! I got a call less than an hour after my interview was finished! They offered me the position! I was floored! When I had asked them how long it would take to find out I was told about 2 weeks! So you can imagine my surprise!
Naturally I accepted! I am starting either September or October, it depends on how soon I can get out of my lease on my apartment.
I absolutely LOVE the cottonwood area. I can imagine that is where we will hopefully end up buying.
I am incredibly nervous now. I made a pros and cons list. And I think my pros to moving outweigh the cons both on the quality and quantity aspects.
I think that hardest for me will be leaving all of my friends and family. I do have a brother and sister in law in Santa Fe. And I am hoping ot make new friends quickly... hint hint hint!
Well, I am back home now and have to go to bed for work tomorrow. Thanks for the support! Talk to you all soon!
Re: I'm Gonna Be a REAL NM NESTIE!!!
YAY!!!!! Congrats, that's so exciting!
We'll have to do a GTG the next time you're out here!

Yay, Congrats!!
We'll definitely have to get together when you move down.
Yay! Another New Mexican!
Keep us updated with your scheule. And I'm serious about meeting you for meals or snacks or coffee on your breaks, I live 2 blocks from Pres so I'm on!
Flame,
You MIGHT not want to meet me for breaks... they will be like 2 in the morning! hahah. I will be working night shift usually. Hahaha.
Alright!!! Sounds good! I'm gonna need some friends. We are starting to slowly break the news to people here. (they didn't know I even went out for the interview). And I am getting mixed reviews. Not quite the reactions I thought I would get.
I think I am starting to psyche myself out! hahaha. Coming back out to visit in September. Then making the move either late September or mid October.

Well, you have a handful of friends waiting out here for you.
ABQ gets weird responses. Most peopel never stop here to actually see what it's like. They just race up to Santa Fe and stay in the Plaza which is a tourist mecca. ABQ is more gritty and real and where poeple actually live and work. We have warts and ugly parts and all that. And lots of brown.
Defitely let us know when in September you'll be here!
hahaha! You guys sound like my kind of people! Haha!
Thanks again! I am waiting to find out my exact start date. My landlord isn't being very flexible with our month to month lease.
We'll be out visiting the 17th-23rd to look at houses again.
I'll be in touch!
