Yesterday, I decided that Dh and I are going to give the 30 day shred a try...eeeekkkk. well we are going to make it a competition to see who loses more weight/inches...so that way DH is very into it and wants to win to get his prize
. So we go to buy it at wal-mart last night and the guy has no clue what it is or where to tell me it is around the dvd section....gosh. So I am going to look for it today and hopefully be able to find it somewhere around here so we can get started. Has anyone done the shred on here??

Yay for Friday!
I lasted a couple days on the Shred. Its tough, esp when you're as out of shape as I am. But I want to get back into it. A competition is a great idea to keep you both motivated!
Tomorrow we have a wedding in Connecticut, about 6 hours away. We are leaving early in the am, and driving there. The wedding starts late, not until 6pm for the ceremony, so we have time to get there and freshen up and take a nap even. Then on the way back, we are staying at a B&B in the Finger Lakes and going to some wineries and maybe the outlets on the way home. I'm super pumped! THEN when we get back, we're getting some things together and going to my friends beach house on Lake Erie and hanging out with her family and the new guy she is seeing. ?
Since the wedding I gained back almost all the weight I lost to fit into that damn dress!!! The dress was inspiration LOL I need to do something.
I am jealous, going to the lake sounds great.
This has been a rough week, I wish I could look forward to a weekend, but as always we both are working. Sooo all I have to look forward to is being at the beach house in Jamaica in 24 days!!!

My weekend will be so so. DH has to work all weekend. And I just found out that my supervisor has accepted another job, so unfortunately she will be leaving in two weeks. I'm so sad, and happy for her. What our boss decides to do about all her duties should be interesting. I was originally hired as her assistant so it will interesting to see if all her clerical duties fall to me, which would be fine. Wish something like that would happen to me!
Kelly - wow, that will be a big change at work for you. I hope it leads to something positive, like more responsibility (and happiness) at work for you. However, it's always hard when people you like move on to a different job.
I wish everyone a good weekend!! I think DH and I will both be working at the farm on Saturday and Sunday night, but it shouldn't be too bad.
We are having what has to be record cold here in Minnesota. It was only 55 degrees when I left for work this morning. Is anyone else having strange weather where you are?

Lisa, the weather here has been really really wierd this year. Usually by now our creek would be completely dry and we would be in the middle of our fire season. So far it's stayed pretty cool. Only a few hot days here and there, but at night it gets real cool. I am honestly enjoying it & hope it stays this way all summer!!!
Bkenan-I did the shred for three days until I pulled my calf muscle-it hurt sooo bad I was limping for two days-guess I should have worn shoes when I did it:) I couldn't find it at WalMart, but Target had it for $14-it can be found by the sports equipment not the dvds. Good luck!! and I really like the competition idea to get The Hubbs involved!
Saturday we are going to watch pig wrestling and Sunday bbq at a friends, can't wait!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
