TGIF

ugh. what a looooong week!

Whats on the agenda for this weekend?

Re: TGIF

  • Tonight: debate between seeing my cousin's baseball game or staying home to relax. we had a rough night last night so we're both really leaning towards a quiet night at home.

Tomorrow: gardening/chores then a wedding in the evening (goodness, has this been the summer of weddings or what??)

Sunday: more gardening and yardwork and maybe a visit with my bff

  • Tonight:  a quiet night in

Tomorrow: haircut for me, run to Target and greekfest with friends

Sunday:  TEST, groceries and seeing a friend who had surgery

  • I don't know. We just found out yesterday that K has torn her rotator cuff muscle and may need surgery. :-(  That means I'll be doing most of the yard work this weekend.

Saturday - we're hoping to go to a local musuem that we didn't get to last week.

  • I am not sure what we are up to. LMC's behavior has been so horrible we have to decide day by day if we can go out with her or not. Sunday night we are going out to dinner for the first time in months. Even though they will be asleep when the sitter comes I am still nervous about leaving them.
  • Tonight, I am on the fence about whether to go with C to her softball game or stay home to do laundry/chores (I know the choice sounds obvious, but it would feel really good to wake up tomorrow with some of the housework already done).

Tomorrow, we both have haircuts, and we're going to Home Depot to get the supplies to paint our bathroom ceiling, and pick out paint samples for the bedroom and 2nd bedroom.  We may or may not get to actually painting the bathroom ceiling.  We need to do some laundry and cleaning and prep for the room painting/makeovers we're doing for my birthday next week.  Then, that night we are going to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner with a gc that C got for her bday, and target for the usual stuff and toys r us for a gift for my youngest brother.

Then on Sunday, we are taking my younger brother to see Harry Potter for his birthday present (my brothers and I all have late July bdays), followed by a birthday party for both boys.

When I look at it all written out, I kind of what to cry, ha ha.  But we're going to take it one step at a time and try to enjoy ourselves Smile

We don't know. Her shoulder has been hurting for awhile but she finally went to the doctor yesterday.  She has to have an MRI to determine how bad the tear is, but the dr felt as though it was definitely torn.  We hope she can avoid surgery.

  • I'll be hoping along with you!!
  • My weekend started a day early since our nanny had asked for this day off months ago and none of our back up sitters could come. L was planning on staying home, but she got whatever Carter had last weekend and has basically been in bed/asleep since yesterday at 2pm. So I stayed home with the kids.

This morning I took the kids to a children's museum to play and to run a few errands that I'd been procrastinating.  I think we'll go for Mexican for a late lunch/early dinner since they both fell asleep before lunch.

Saturday morning I am taking them to a drumming performance. There are is also a carousel and a train ride at the park, so we'll probably do that too.  Tomorrow night if L is feeling better, we'll go to dinner and let the kids play in the sprayground.

Sunday I have no idea what we'll do.  L is talking about going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast - so we might do that, hang out around the house, and get ready for the week.

  • I am so excited for the weekend, not because I'm doing anything especially fun...but because this week has been crazy busy. Good busy. But still crazy.

I'm hoping to spend most of the weekend chilling out and nesting. We haven't been home for a whole weekend for awhile. We're heading over the our community garden for some weeding. One of our friends is girlfriendless this weekend and we're planning to see Harry Potter together Saturday. Heading to a brithday party of a coworker on Sunday. It's the Fringe Festival this weekend, but I'm not sure I'm up to going. We'll see.

  • tonight i'm just enjoying my wife's company.

tomorrow we have a really busy day. we're going down to the hockey arena in the morning to pick which season ticket package we're going to go with and our seats, then we're going to get haircuts, then we're going to some home show thing, then either going to a friend's house for some swimming or to a fundraiser for a theatre i used to do a lot of work with but we haven't decided which yet. and there might be something else, but if so i forget what it is.

sunday we'll be going to church, then working on some things around the house and hopefully getting in a round of disc golf. we haven't played nearly as much as we'd like this year, and it's only going to get worse as her belly gets bigger!
