Anniversary Plans (Already!?)

The other night hubby took me out to dinner for my birthday.  He then asked me "what should we do for our anniversary?"  I was shocked because a) he's not a planner and b) it's July.  It was really sweet though, him being excited to plan something.

What do you think you'll do for your anniversary?

Re: Anniversary Plans (Already!?)

  • My H has had this planned for quite a while.  We are going to be staying in the area but going out for a very nice dinner at a historic villiage in the area that will have everything decorated for christmas, then caroling and fireworks!!!  Then we are going to spend the night at the same hotel we spent our first night in.

  • I have no idea. LOL

  • We have talked about going to place that's about an hour to half and hour. We are going to stay at a bed and breakfast.  But I like the idea of staying were you first stayed on your honeymoon that might be fun and closer to home too.
  • we were planning to do a cabin in the mountains, but I like the idea of staying where we stayed on our honeymoon!
  • I think we might go on a cruise. It's a little on the expensive side, but we never got to take a honeymoon after we got married (since I had a new job, and DH didn't have any vacation accrued).

I hope that we stick to our plan and do it, I really regret not taking a honeymoon... and I think it would be nice to have the one on one time.

  • We have talked about it but never concluded on anything. A cabin sounds really nice.

  • We booked the cabin we stayed at for our honeymoon for a couple of nights around New Years.

  • Haha. This post is so old, but I'll reply anyway.

I plan on sitting at home alone with a bottle of champagne and some chocolate cake as DH will still be on deployment for our 1st anniversary.

  • That sucks about deployment.  I've been there.  Celebrated 3 Valentine's Days, 2 Birthdays, and 2 Christmas's all due to deployments.
