SWVA Nestie G2G?
I know we mentioned this back in May I think, and I was wondering if we were ready to plan a G2G. Things have slowed down a lot for me since the wedding, so I'm pretty free. Either post here or send me a pm and let me know if you're in! We could meet up for dinner.

Im new to VA so I'm not sure what SWVA consists of, but I would love to go to a G2G with other nesties so I can meet some people.
After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

Oh that's great! Congrats! Are you having a boy or a girl? My sister is due in Oct. and I'm throwing her a shower the second weekend in August. She's having twins, so we wanted to have it early just in case she goes early!
Day or two behind, but I'm in!
Also, we are talking about a small, not a big deal, kind of get together, but I was going to say that doesn't mean we can't plan a bigger get together too! We could always plan one for around here and then one upstate eventually too. I wouldn't mind going to Williamsburg for a weekend eventually. We could see the sights and stuff with the locals. I don't know how much they would really enjoy coming to Roanoke. We could do a short hike or something go to the market. Just a thought. That is more of a thing that will take some detailed planning, while a local get together we can just all decide where to meet for dinner or something.
I vote we do it in Aug. I am good from the 3rd on. Any ideas? Last time we did one here we did it at the market in Downtown Roanoke. We met for dinner.

I have been dying to have dinner at Awful Arthurs again!
As for a date, I would like to do it before school starts...so any day before August 17th would be good for me.
Also, there is a festival coming up in Blacksburg called Stepping Out. I don't know how you guys feel about a festival, but they have all kinds of vendors, bands, and food.
I have never been to Awful Arthurs so I am up for that or the festival. DH said that sounds like fun (I would obviously bring him along for the festival or maybe even the dinner if you ladies wanted to involve the H's) as long as I knew that you ladies weren't freaks! So after we pick what we want to do, I recommend we communicate via email on date/time/location/etc. There are quite a few more ladies that live in the area who may want to come. I might post on the DC board and the WC- the other board I frequent, once we figure out what we want to do.

I am not a freak haha! I am actually quite boring because I feel like I have no life here - everyone I know is a good 200-500 miles away except for my co-workers who tend to be about 20 years older than me
