Nighttime Entertainment?

MH and I were given tickets to Friday night's Brewers game and booked a hotel in Brookfield for the night.  Any suggestions/recommendations for places in the area to go post-game that might have live music or a good (casual/laid back, but fun) crowd for a few drinks?

(I know I've asked before, but we never really knew where we'd stay, or had a hotel bar before to go to.  This time, the hotel only has dining open until 10pm.)

TIA!

Re: Nighttime Entertainment?

  • I would recommend Champs on Mooreland Rd in Brookfield it's a great sports bar/Restaurant They have awesome food and it's a great environment.
  • You could stay by the stadium (and even park there before and do the bar shuttle to and from Miller Park).  Your options would include McGinn's (my personal favorite), Fiesta Garibaldi, Rounding Third, Steve's on Bluemound, etc.  Just a little further west on Bluemound (towards Brookfield) is Balistrieri's on Bluemound.  They make pizzas late night, though they won't have too much of a crowd.

Actually, now that I think of it, my best recommendation that will likely have live music and great food and drinks is Mo's on Hwy 100 and Bluemound.  Then you'll be even closer to your hotel.  http://www.mosirishpub.com/wauwatosa/index.html

Have a great time and go Brewers!
