hi! Big Smile

i'm curious about your new job! not specifics like where or anything, but what kind of photography are you going to be doing? like studio portraits, or weddings and events, or something else? what kind of camera do you have? will you be using your own camera, or do they have one you'll use? i'm nosy, i want details!

are you loving being back home?

Re: *rikki*

  • I'm super excited about the new job, so I'm happy you asked! It's for a Studio called Flash! Digital Photos. I'll start by just doing, studio work, then eventually once I've gained enough experience I'll be doing on location photo shoots. Like going to someone house for family photos rather, than them coming to the studio. Right now they don't offer wedding photography or anything like that, but it's in the works.

I have a canon rebel xti, with quite a few lenses. However the studio has a MUCH better camera, it's a super super fancy Nikon, and it's top of the line. I'm not for positivie of what kind though, after tomorrow I'll let you know. :-)

I am LOVING being back home, I love everything about being here. I can't explain it, it just feels so 'right'.

  • that's awesome! i'm glad you're so excited for it. Big Smile i can't wait to hear about it, it sounds like fun.

i have an xti also. i'd love to upgrade to the t1i (or an even better model), but it's not feasible right now. i have two decent lenses, but i'd like to get a macro. i may try to see if i can find a decent used one at a local shop, there are a few here that have used lenses. i really don't know what i'm doing, though. i just take pictures for fun, but i know once the baby's here i'm going to be taking a whole lot more!

i get it about being home. i moved away for a few years and then moved back home. i would have been happy staying where i was, but i grew up here and feel comfortable here.

  • We shoot with Nikon D200's. They are AWESOME! :-)
