Sorry ladies! DH was very delinquent with my instructions for letting you guys know! He was supposed to email a whole group of people with the first updates, and decided to only call a few people instead. 
Some quick info before meal time:
17 hrs of labour, not toooo bad. 2nd degree tear unfortunately b/c his heartrate really dipped right at the end and they didn't have time for me to go slowly. Only 1.5 hrs of pushing so not too bad. Lachlan David, 8 lb even, 20 in long born at 2:54 am July 20th.
He's feeding like a champ and sleeping fairly well. Last night was rough in the hospital but I'm home now and will have some help tonight at least (DH wasn't allowed to stay at the hospital, damn non-private rooms)
I'm off - will hopefully be back again soon! Thanks for all your well wishes!
