Please recommend your hair salon!

I need a new salon.  I used to go to Tyler Mason but it's just too far for me to drive now, and they messed up my hair/didn't listen to me the last two times.   Need to find a new salon/stylist either central, north, east or south.

I just tried a new salon last week, and I loved it.  It is called Bobby Cooper Salon, and it is just off College Ave at 65th in Broadripple.  Tiffany did my hair and I really like the color and cut.  She did great for never having seen me before.  It is an upscale salon, so you get wine while you wait and the chairs at the wash basins have massagers that roll up and down your back while they shampoo.  I was in heaven!

I go to Karen Patterson Ray at Meridian Design Group downtown across from the dome in the Pan Am Plaza building. Karen ROCKS!!!!!

Thank you girls!  I've been to Meridian Design group once, some Russian chick cut my hair, it was pretty decent but she used the razor too much.  Maybe I'll give Karen a try.

 That place in BR sounds awesome - I've never heard of it before so thanks!

Karen is GREAT! I have been going to her for about 2 years and JillyJill another nestie has been going for forever. She does a great job, really listens, and tells you honestly what will work best for you. She's great!!!!

Not sure if you're still checking this thread, but I see Stephanie at Salon 6 in Broadripple and I've been to her now 4 times and each time I've gotten a great cut, and most recently she did color and I was very happy with it.  It's not a flashy salon with amenities, but their prices are great...for a cut & style it's $30, complete color was $30 so for me, these are the best prices I've found for such a great stylist.  I would feel very comfortable having friends or family go there.
