What is the best thing about San Diego? the weather! And how dog friendly it is. I take my Porkchop just about everywhere with me.
Favorite place to eat? I have too many to list! Though lately, Vegan Zone in PB has been a top favorite!
Fav place to shop? I'm not much of a shopper, but if I had to choose, I'd say Fashion Valley Mall.
How long do you plan on living here? As long as DH has his job, which hopefully is a long time!
Did you get married here, if so where at? We got married in NJ a month before moving here.
Aww how cute how is porkchop, isn't it crazy how fast they grow?! I look at pictures from when mine was a puppy and I'm like I never remember him being that small, now he is too big!
How long have you lived in San Diego? All my life, 21 years, I moved away last summer for 6 months and quickly moved back I could not live anywhere else!!

What is the best thing about San Diego? The beaches, there is so much to do, we have it all!

What is your favorite city in the county? Dont have one. I like Julian for a nice getaway and the best donuts on earth are in Escondido.
What is the best thing about San Diego? No tornados! Well we occassionally get them but not that often!
Favorite place to eat? Depends on the type of food I want. Petersons Donut Corner for donuts, Las Cuatro Milpas for mexican food.
Fav place to shop? Do the majority of my shopping at Fashion Valley or North County Fair. Although I have been known to do some serious damage to the bank account at Costco!
How long do you plan on living here? Until DH finishes his degree. After that, we could end up anywhere unless he gets a job in the middle east...then I will be stuck here til he gets back.
Did you get married here, if so where at? Nope...I was an IE bride and got married at the Mission Inn in Riverside.

How long have you lived in San Diego? 25 years. I was born and raised here, but went to the east coast for college, then was stationed overseas a few times while in the military.
What is your favorite city in the county? I'm partial to Ocean Beach, but I also like Coronado too (I was able to live there for a year and a half one time I was stationed here).

What is the best thing about San Diego? Other than the weather, I love how just laid back and friendly almost everyone is.
Favorite place to eat? Chain wise, I love CPK. Non-chain wise, the best food is at Sunrise Cafe in Vista (they do breakfast and lunch only).

How long do you plan on living here? I don't know for sure. I'm applying to PhD programs, so that will determine the next 5-7 years. But if I do leave, I want to come back for sure!!!

the weather- its july and its 70 something degrees out. Can't complain about that.

Maybe its cheesy, but I love the Olive Garden.

There isn't a place I would much rather live. I've got huge home town pride. I mean there's a reason why SD is the second most desired place to live. I plan on being here at least until the DH and I retire and spend the rest of our days RVing.
Did you get married here, if so where at?
We had the ceremony at Mt. Hawk Park in CV. It was a beautiful location overlooking Otay Lakes and the San Miguel mountains and very true to our roots. We had the reception at Tom Ham's Lighthouse overlooking downtown and the harbor. Both locations were very scenic.
