H & I are thinking of going away for a weekend. I am really at a loss for places to go. Have any of you ladies gone somewhere that you'd recommend for a weekend away?

We're open to anywhere we can drive to. Thanks ladies!

Lake George is really good idea. I haven't been there since I was a kid & I don't think H has ever been.

Have fun in AC! I've never been there before but I'll bet it's really fun. That's another good idea for us actually since we enjoy gambling.

I got married in PA, so my suggestions are around there.  Hershey is great if you like the amusement parks.  Lancaster is fun for the Amish stuff and antiquing.  I've also heard good things about New Hope as far as shopping and quaintness goes....  Good luck choosing a place!

 Thanks for the suggestion! We do love amusement parks & I heard that Hershey Park has awesome roller coasters. I've never been to the Amish country & I think that would be fun too.

mystic, ct is really nice too....we spent a long weekend there last september and had a lot of fun.... not a bad drive either, i think it was like 2.5 hours or something

Thanks for the idea! We still haven't made up our minds!  2.5 hours is not bad at all. Is Mystic, CT where the famous pizza place is? : )

haha, yea it's there. ?it's a tourist restaurant, the food really isn't that good, especially when compared to NY pizza. ?but we ate there and took some fun pics nonetheless. ?there's lots of other really good restaurants, cute little shops, the aquarium, the seaport/museum..... ?very quaint.

There's nothing like NY pizza. Mystic definitely sounds like a place we would like.
