Please recommend your Kaiser PCP/OBGYN
Hey all...please let me know if you have a PCP or OBGYN with Kaiser that you would recommend.
Thanks in advance!
p.s. I tried searching the board for past posts, but none came up. I know this has been asked before, but I could not find them.
Re: Please recommend your Kaiser PCP/OBGYN
Hi! I have several OB's, they are all at Kaiser Sunnyside, Mt Talbert office. You can look for a provider on Kaiser's website and see pics and bios of all the Dr's also.
Julia Barnes is my OB, she's awesome. Very friendly, knowledgable, kind, etc. I give her an A++. She tends to book out far in advance and it can be tough to get an appt with her if you have an urgent problem.
Rachel Algenio was my #2 pick throughout my pregnancy, I saw her 4-5 times, she's very nice also, very caring.
Mike Traynor is great too. I really like a female OB, so I don't ever see him. He was on call in L&D when I had to go to the hospital during my pregnancy, and I was very impressed with him. Then he happened to be the one scheduled to do my c/s also. He did a great job, and I will for sure ask him to do my next c/s also. Plus he's really cute and has a nice smile, which is a nice bonus. Also he shares nurses with Dr Barnes, so I liked that I know all of his nurses also.
