Reccomend Resturant for bday
Hi! My new husband's bday is in Sept. I wanted to take him out to dinner for his bday (He's not the surprise party type, so I was thinking dinner just the two of us or maybe a small group of our friends.) Any suggestions on places in the SW burbs area? He likes mediveal type stuff. I dont' want to do Mediveal Times, we just went a few months ago. I saw on another post someone suggested Alfie's to another nesti-How is that place?

I suggested Alfie's to another poster...DH and I love it! We eat there all the time!
The decor is medieval but nothing else about it really is, if that is what you are looking for. Alfie's has awesome burgers and I love their ribs too. They are in Glen Ellyn on Roosevelt Rd!
If he was into BBQ I would recommend Chuck's Southern Comforts. It is not fancy or anything but I had a client take me there and they LOVE it (3x a week). It also got great reviews on Check Please.
It is a place that I want to take DH since I think he would like it since it is what would be considered "Man Food"
