It's been a slow few weeks here, I hope that's because you're all too busy enjoying the summer to be posting! This is our week:
Monday: Greek Pasta Salad w/ Shrimp Zucchini, Peppers, Tomatos and Feta w/ garlic toast;
Tuesday: Grilled Ham Steak Kabobs w/ Peach Slaw;
Wednesday: Leftovers;
Thursday: Fruit Berry Salad w/ Cherry Pie for dessert
Friday: Might be moving stuff, might be camping...not sure of the plan yet.
Re: Menus
I'm trying to get back into the swing of menu planning. D's doing a lot of cooking lately, so it's been more basic stuff than usual, but now that I have more energy I can at least help out/take over when needed.
Mon: Tortellini salad, grilled chicken breasts, green beans
Tues: Apple and cheddar pork chops, mashed potatoes, salad, corn
Wed: Honey garlic chicken thighs, egg noodles, salad, glazed carrots
Thur: Pineapple meatballs, rice, salad, sugar snap peas
Monday: Stuffed chicken breasts with asparagus and broccoli
Tuesday: Sloppy joes and salad
Wed. Country ribs and spinach salad
Thurs. Roasted chicken and baked yams
Friday. Spagetti and garlic bread
Saturday : Family BBQ; steak with (potluck sides)
Last week I sat down and menu planned for the first time ever! Thanks to your posts I realized how much better it is to plan and now I don't see how I managed before! This is what we are eating this week -
Monday - Smoked meat sandwiches (meat from Costco, it's delicious!) and homemade cole slaw.
Tuesday - Taco night!
Wednesday - Salt and pepper chicken with rice and veggies
Thursday - Chicken Alfredo lasgna
Friday - Greek gyros with left over chicken
Monday: Chicken Scallopini in a honey mustard cream sauce, green and wax beans and quinoa
Tuesday: leftovers from dinner at MIL's yesterday - homemade pasta, meatballs, and I'll make a quick salad
Wednesday: leftover chicken from monday, sauteed marrow squash
Thursday: eggplant, scallion, marrow squash tossed into balsamic penne, salad
Friday: beef stir fry
Monday - Chicken Skewers with rice and Spinach and snow pea salad
Tuesday - Taco bake
Wednesday - Honey mustard chicken with pasta and edamame beans
Thursday - BBQ burgers with salad
Friday - ?
