Shower locations (Memphis area)

Hello ladies, I am hoping you are able to help me out. I am hosting a shower in Memphis. (We live in Missouri though) Do you have any venue ideas for places in Memphis (collierville or around that area?) We don't want to spend a ton of money but I'm stumped on places since I'm not from there. Parks, restaurants etc that might have a private room.  TIA

Re: Shower locations (Memphis area)

  • I'm not terribly familiar with the Collierville area. I never venture on that side of Shelby County. But, you could check out Jim's Place Grille. They have a private dining area - http://www.jimsplacegrille.com/index.html

If you are willing to venture into downtown - I'd suggest Texas de Brazil - they have a private area upstairs or Tugs which is in Harbor Town and has a nice view of the river.

I'm not sure what time of the year the shower is being held, but if it's anytime in August, do your self a favor and don't have a shower in the park. It's entirely too hot and muggy in Memphis during the summer for that.

Check with the city of Collierville to see if they have a community center that you can use as well. Some of the community centers are really nice - Cordova has a really nice community center.
