Re: Daily Question: 7/27
I have a million books I want to read, but after FINALLY seeing "Twilight" Friday night, I am now so anxious to read the series.
Are they worth the read? Especially since I have seen the first movie already.

YES they are worth the read. I read the whole series in 3 weeks.
Okay this is so funny.
On another board I frequent this same question was asked, and again about 1/3 of the members were reading books from the Twilight series.
Hahaha!
I've been having to do reading for school, so right now I'm reading "Principles and Practice of Sex Therapy"
I'm also reading Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire (its the sequel to Wicked). Great book so far, I'm a huge fan of his writing.
Side note-ama-I LOVED "Wicked" have you read the "ugly stepsister"? on a 2nd note-I don't know if you, or any of the other ladies are fans of musicals-classic or modern, but Wicked is coming to the Peace Center in February-I cannot wait to see it again!!!!
Yes I would say they are absolutely worth reading. It's so cliche, but the book is SOOO much better than the movie.
I'm on book 3. I know most people haven't been as impressed with books 2-4 but I'm 400 pages into book 3 and I've enjoyed them all thus far.
Yes! I actually think I liked Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister more! He has so many books and I hate that I'm in school and don't have the time to pleasure read like I want to.
Ever since I heard about 2 years ago that Wicked was planned to come to the Peace Center, I've been talking about it to my husband, dropping not so subtle hints. Hopefully I get tickets for my birthday, christmas, or even Valentine's Day.

ama-I really enjoyed the Ugly Stepsister-I'm looking at getting my ticket to Wicked early if possible!! My DH isn't into that type of show so it might be a "me" evening or a gals evening or something. Definitely Excited though!!!
I saw this a few months back and am sooo excited!! Tickets don't go on sale till Oct though. I called for the price, but now I don't remember what it was.
