Moving Companies- Madison

Hello All,

I am moving from Middleton to Sun Prairie at the end of August and I am looking for a moving company.  (Too much stuff + Several heavy items= Movers needed)

I requested quotes from Two Men and a Truck and Mad City Moving.  What are your opinions on either company?  Are there any other companies I may have missed that you would recommend?

Thanks in advance!

  • I have used 2 men and a truck two times here in Milwaukee.  Both times i was really happy with them.  They are really careful and quick.  I recommend them to my clients.

  • When we moved last August my husband found a company on Craigslist.  They were great.  We moved from Midvale Blvd to over off of Maple Grove.  The company sent 2 high schoolers and we were apprenhensive at first.  But they were very good.  They were gentle with our stuff, never sat down and kept asking what was next to be loaded into the truck.

And they only cost us $200 for the 4 hours we had them.  We did need to get our own U-haul though.
