In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We just got back from the beach! *updated w/pics!*
DH surprised me on Monday by taking Mon and Tues off work and taking me and the baby to the beach! It was so gorgeous, perfect weather, about 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. We did a campfire on the beach and walked a TON! Our feet hurt today. I have NEVER seen Seaside so packed! People were on the beach in bikinis, it seriously felt like San Diego or Clearwater, not Seaside.
Then we drove down 101 today and went to Lincoln City, had some chowder, did some shopping, and drove the long way back to Portland.
I took the most amazing pics of my daughter on her first beach trip, will try to get them uploaded tomorrow... It's 11:15 pm and I have to work in the morning!
So now back to 105 degree weather... 
What a great trip, I really needed it.

Sounds amazing! Isn't the first beach trip awesome? We did Pacific City last year when it was in the 90's and had a ton of fun.
I love the drive over to the coast! Especially taking Hwy 6.....
We just drove out that way on Sunday looking for good campsites.
Sounds like you had an AMAZING time... its always good to get away
