To a European wax center? Sorry if this is TMI. What was your experience with them? Or where do you girls go to get waxed? TIA...

I go to UniK Wax Center, and have waxed bikini, eyebrows, upper lip, underarms, and legs (up to knees)... but only do the first 3 often. I go to the center in Pinecrest... if that is near you, I can recommend my "stylist."

I think Ceventa has been to the European Centers. I think that as long as it is "strip less" I'd give it a ty.
UniK is a franchise, so there may be one near you!

I go to Uni K in Miami Lakes. The lady is great and gentle.
Coco - does the underarms hrt? I have been wanting to try it.
I've been wanting to do it for the longest, but have been the biggest chicken sh*t b/c a waxist told me that it was the area for the most pain. I figured, dude, the bikini hurts a lot, so imagine the underarms!
But I finally gave in last month and did it before my trip, and I have to say it wasn't as bad as the bikini (not sure if you can compare). But then again, my lady had wax all over me and spread the pain out pretty well! I left there sweating LOL

I completely agree. However, I think we are spoiled down here w/ these chain wax centers. I've seen polls online before asking how much people pay for bikini, and I've seen some ladies pay up to $100! W/ most paying around $60-75!

i didn't realize how spoiled I was until I moved to Austin. I guess because the are seasons here and people just usually wax around summertime, the prices are higher. Also, I noticed its just not as common around here. I asked on my local nest board about it and not that many people even knew of places to go to. Whenever I visit my parents, I end up making an appt at the one in Weston. I refuse to pay as much as a haircut for that.

I've been going to UniK on recommendation from the nesties and its been great. I think European Wax Center is about the same though. Your gonna see, it's addicting.
