Bad Wax
Redwing's post got me thinking about bad waxing experiences.
Since we've got a lot of waxers here, have you had any bad experiences? Any advice for newbie waxers?

My worst wax experience was at Contour Day Spa in Plantation. I went in for a routine eyebrow and bikini wax. They lady they assigned me had no clue what she was doing, she must have been a masseuse or something that had a free half hour. She just stayed staring at all the wax stuff and was like, "Ok, let's give this a try". First she started on my eyebrows, she opted to use this bright green stripless wax. As she finished the last brow she dropped a huge glob in the middle of my eyebrow. She was trying to get it off and I could feel the middle of eyebrow ripping off so I told her to stop and that I would just wash it off later.
I figured, ok, it was a little hiccup, could happen to anyone. She started on my bikini, layered the wax on all areas and placed the strip. She ripping them off at odd angles and it hurt soooo much, plus she forgot to put baby powder on to keep the wax from sticking to my skin. Finally, I got upset, ripped the strips off myself and walked out. I don't why I did this, but I just paid and walked out. I didn't say anything to the manager, I think because I was so desperate to get out of there. I haven't gone back since. Now that I think about it, I should have complained.

Mine was the day before my wedding. it was my first time, and i went in between my hair appoint to uni k wax. It was painful becuase the lady would rip it really fast and wouldnt let me relax or wait until I was ready. I kept telling her the wax was too hot, and she burned me. All she kept saying was that I was being a baby and needed to relax and get over it. I didnt even finish the back and left never going to taht location.
