Hi Ladies,
I'm a Cincinnati Nestie planning a trip to Chicago next month. I only have enough Marriott points for a free hotel in the suburbs (not in the city) but we'd like to have one that's near the train for easy access to the city.
Do you know of specific Marriott properties near a train station in good neighborhoods?
Examples of Marriott properties: Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, Spring Hill Suites, Town Place Suites, Renaissance
Thanks!
Katie
Re: Hotel in the Suburbs
The ones in Schaumburg aren't anywhere near public transport into the city. However, I've stayed at both and they are nice. You might want to look at the Rosemont locations- I know there is a Renaissance in Rosemont (thought the rates are often higher as it's in a convention district), and I believe there is a Marriott, too.
If you go on the websites for the various Marriott locations, they do have info on proximity to public transportation.
