So, we've been staying in a hotel...
To escape the heat. And at this point i dont even care that that makes us look like weak weaklings . We were actually very concerned about our pets, which is what made the decision for us. They were all just laying around breathing heavily and not moving. Scary! It was freaking me out a little.
Home today!
BONUS: Someone at DH's office took pity on us and lent us a portable ac that they've stoped using since they got central air. I said HELL YES! my apt is livable again.

HA! I love it!!
You'd die down where I live in San Diego...it's like 90+ all summer until October!
My BFF lives in Seattle and is supposed to have her baby today-poor thing, it was the hottest temp EVER recorded there yesterday!

This is definitely the worst part of the heat. We're leaving for Astoria on Saturday so I need to do laundry but the thought of running the dryer makes me overheat. So smart to stay in a hotel...?
Seriously. I'm with you there (from now on at least) and cant wait till our lease is up
ditto this...from now on it's only places with A/C....oye although a year from now when we're looking for a house closer to L&C...i'm sure i'll have forgotten about this and DH and i will be like "it wasn't THAT bad"...when we find the perfect house/location..and we'll end up with no A/C again lol
