Chattanooga Townhome/House rental

DH just got a job offer in Chattanooga and he has accepted it.  We are originally from East TN near Knoxville and aren't that familiar with Chattanooga.  We know we wanna live on the outskirts but aren't sure what the "nicer" areas are.    We've google searched & looked on craigslist but haven't found anything just yet.  We were going to look at Cleveland this weekend but are thinking that might be too far away.  Any suggestions/comments?

Yes it sure was!! I'm over moving but we will both be where we wanted to "be" professionally now.  We are going to probably be moving to the Cleveland area which is about an hour from Knoxville (where all the family & friends are).  Exciting, yet scary.  I'd say we will be there for at least 2 or 3 years so DH can get his experience.  We will be glad to actually spend holidays together since he's been with Wal-mart as long as we've been together.  Anyways, enough about me....how are your chances of getting back to East Tennessee going?

Well.....my professional life is miserable. I am working as a nanny just to make money now, but I am wanting to start my own business when we do move back to Knoxville. My husband still has his job, BUT they keep making cuts. Last year there were 55 people and now there are only 17, and with all the paycuts, he is making 50% what he used to. So he is currently looking and applying like crazy in Knoxville. I am hoping to be back before Christmas. The only problem is his degree and current job is architecture but that market is dead and no one is hiring. However, he has tons of experience in IT but no degree in it, so he is focusing on it right now. I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying so hard to get back by Christmas and hopefully buy a house next summer. (Sorry if that was a bunch of rambling).
