favorite way to spend:
$1? coffee.
$10? baby clothes.
$100? this lens for my camera.
$1,000? right now, a new mattress.
I LOVE that lens! Fantastic bokeh. Except the nikon version I have doesnt autofocus which is a huge bummer.
You should definitley put that on your baby gear list, though, it would be perfect for photographing an infant

yay! that's awesome to hear. i've been debating it for a while; i'm probably going to break down and buy it for myself sometime in the next few months. i'd love to have it before the baby gets here, and i've heard great things about the lens--especially for the price. right now my maximum f/stop is 3.5, so i'd love to have one that will get better bokeh than what i have now.
