Laser hair removal???

Has anyone had this done? I have thought about it randomly throughout the years but always pushed it off as too expensive.

Does anyone know rough estimates on cost? I would love to get my armpits and eye brows done. Any experiences with male hair removal? Brett would probably be interested in his chest and back.

 Thanks!!!

Re: Laser hair removal???

  • I am! I have seen major improvements but I am not close to being done. That's one thing I'll warn you about. They say 8-10 treatments, but it takes WAY longer than that.

I've been going to Beautification by Boulware (sorry don't have the number on hand, but just type that into google) in Liberty. The girls who do it there are SO nice. I even got a card from one of them after she found out about our baby!

Their prices have increased quite a bit since I started, but they can give you a pricing sheet at the office. Also, they cut you deals if you do more than one area. Another good thing is that they let you make payments whenever and however you want.

The plan there is all inclusive. So, it doesn't matter if you  have to go 10 times to get it all done or 20 times, it's all included in that base price.

And last warning, if you have light hair, it's not going to work very well. I have pretty coarse, dark hair so it is working wonders! (Just not as fast as I wish it was. Now I have to wait until after the baby comes to finish.)

    Beth-

Thanks for all the information!!! I will call them this week and see what I kind find out on prices! If you don't mind me asking, what area's are you having done? Is it painful?? My armpit hair (TMI, I know!) is very coarse and dark so that area would be good!!

  • I'm getting armpits, full legs and full bikini (yep, the whole thing! Smile)

The bikini area really hurts every once in a while, but the rest of the areas don't really. Every so often you'll feel something like a rubber band snap, but maybe not even that bad.

  • Spa Catalina up on Barry Road is where I am going and it was $500 for armpits and bikini.  It is all inclusive, you go until it is gone and if anything comes back you can go in for free to get touch ups done.  They are great!
