Wedding Outfit Update

Since I know you're all DYING to know...I found a dress at Macy's (I think Rock suggested Macy's, so she gets a prize!).  It's just a simple wrap dress; black & ivory.

Turns out, that was way more than I needed though, because I saw all sorts of fab things at the wedding yesterday.  For example:

A skull cap
A leather vest with "Jesus Forever' embroidered on it
Facial piercings on one of the bridesmaids
Faded Levi's
A guy dressed as a lumberjack
A kid in a Fila shirt & shorts
Camel toe AND muffin top (on the photographer)

But, the bride looked gorgeous & happy (and the groom - my cousin - looked great, too), and I saw a guy I used to date and he looked miserable, so it was all good Stick out tongue

Re: Wedding Outfit Update

  • Was this the one that was up north in banjo-land? lol

  • Aww, I'm glad you found something...sounds like you were one of the "best dressed" there. ;)

  • It was in banjoland!  But sadly, I did not see anyone from Deliverance, or hear any banjo music.

I wish weddings had best and worst dressed awards.  My trophy case is looking bare.  Wink

That was probably his best vest, pulled out for the occasion since Jesus loves weddings. LOL

I'm happy the bride & groom didn't follow suit. LOL

  • Wow, that's a whole lotta awesomeness going on. You should've just rolled out of bed and headed to the wedding like everyone else Stick out tongue
  • I love how you never quite know what you're going to get when it comes to a WI wedding.  I have no room to talk--my dad walked me down the aisle whilst sporting a mullet.  He was all clean-cut for months leading up to the wedding but decided to "grow it out" in honor of the blessed day.  Gotta love WI!
