I am so excited I'm about to burst! I just found out that I (along with my community project group) will be presenting at the American Public Health Association National Conference in October about our Diabetes: A Hands on Guide to Schools and Educators !!!!! EEKKK!!!!!! We submitted two abstracts as a group and then I submitted a third about my bacterial resistance project that was not accepted (I think its because I used a convience sample.. grr...) but BOTH of our abstracts where accepted it looks like I (I'm the "lead researcher") will be presenting in San Diego in October!!!!!
sorry to ramble but this is a HUGE deal as APHA's National Conference is the largest gathering of public health peeps in the world and I am presenting!!!!! eeekk!!!!
Re: AW: I'm an APHA National Conference Presenter!
Congrats!! It's such an honor to be able to speak at a conference like this. I was able to present last year at ISQua's International Conference- I didn't even think my abstract would be accepted (althought I should have waited though and tried this year because it's in Amsterdam this October- that would have been really awesome!)
You'll do a great job- congrats!
