Activities/ places to take little ones?
Ok since I have been so "bored" since my layoff on July 1st, I decided to babysit three little ones starting next week for four days during the week... they are 4 months old, 19 months and 3 years old.. wow I am definetly not going to be bored anymore! I am looking to places to take them or activities for this age group in the York area.... any ideas? TIA!
Re: Activities/ places to take little ones?
Nixon Park - They have a free educational center with a small child's area and he can see some animals. They also have a little garden area in the back where he likes to play.
Local libraries - We go for story time or just to get books and play. Martin library has a train table and a large fish tank. Red Lion has a treehouse for the children.
Borders - They also have story time. We haven't been to this one ye, but we do go there to look at books.
Pet stores - My foster son could spend hours looking at all the animals and fish.
York Township Park - When I'm too tired to chase after him, he plays on the little toddler area they have. Much easier on me!
We spend a lot of time in the backyard playing in the baby pool and the water hose. He also loves play doh, bubbles, coloring, stickers, "helping" me cook easy things like instant pudding, hmmm....that's all I can come up with now. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. GL and have fun!!
