Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1) My co-workers are starting to heat up their lunches and it's making me hungry.
2) K and I are going to the Melting Pot to celebrate our anniversary
3) My dog is with me at work and will go visit with students soon.
4) I had a nice time with K's sister but I'm still not sure she really likes me.
5) I just looked at my phone to see I have a voicemail...I hate phone calls
6) I have a lot of work to do but with the boss away I'm lacking motivation
7) Our first u/s is tomorrow and I'm scared
8) I'm bloated and fat and I'm not sure I'm going to like this pregnancy thing
9) I can't believe I've been married two years already.
10) Okay, I give up, I'm going to go heat up my lunch.
1. I can't believe Ella will be 4 weeks old this week..time flies and drags on.
2. I hope my meeting with the dep. superintendent goes well tomorrow and they will figure out how not to screw me out of my maternity leave.
3. I don't really know how we will make it financially if they can't see the light and give me my 8 weeks when Ella comes home!
4. I hate that people cheat the system all the time and get away with it and I never take anydays off (2 in 6 years) and I may not be able to get paid time off to take care of my 2 lb baby!
5. I can not belive how much laundry the above mentioned 2lb baby generates and she is not even home yet!
6. I love that my fellow teachers are bringing S and I food, gas cards and coffee cards to get us through this crazy time
7. In a crisis you really see who your friends are and have been surprised (in a good and bad way) by some of our friends
8. I love my wife and she has been my rock and my support through all of this.
9. My shower was really nice and I am so glad we had a day to celebrate in all of this
10 I want my baby home!!!!!!!! I also want her to get to 3lbs! She is getting so close!
1. The bride to be that we went to NYC with this weekend informed us yesterday that she has a nasty chest cold... I don't feel 100% today.... Uh oh...
2. I have ballet tonight, C has a softball game.
3. I have a dentist appointment Friday, and that night we are going to the John Legend concert, then on Saturday we fly to WV where we'll be until Tuesday. Day off of work Wednesday to recover from trip. 3 or 4 days later should be IUI #1.
4. I still haven't got the office/guest room all put back together from our redo. That's my task for this week along with laundry and packing.
5. I'm so glad that after this WV trip we don't have any travel planned until Xmas.
6. I really hope the heat isn't too oppressive in WV.
7. I can't help but daydream about being getting pregnant with try #1 or #2. C's parents are visiting in October and it would so awesome to tell them then. Though if it's #2 or #3, we could tell them at Xmas, which would be equally wonderful...I shouldn't even be thinking these things.
8. It was so wonderful to see my friend Mike in NY this weekend. I miss him so much. I wish we could get together more often.
9. Today I had what I call my "3rd grade lunch" - PB&J with microwave mac & cheese. It's my back-up lunch when we have nothing else at home.
10. It's supposed to be crazy hot and humid here tomorrow. Ew

3) i have no idea what i'm makign for dinner
4) i just ate lunch w/ a coworker who spent half the time complaining about being pg. i wanted to smack her
5) yesterday we got an unexpected check in the mail. it was awesome.
6) shoot. i just realized i was supposed to call my mom this morning....
7) i cant believe its august.
8) we booked the hotel for our anniversary trip and got a great deal
9) i need an idea for what to teach at this month's cooking club. any suggestions for a dish that you'd love for someone to teach you how to cook?
10) Andrea and I are in a competition to see who can lose the most weight this week. the platter of cookies by the printer is not my friend.
Blogs: Our Growing Family - CT Working Moms
1. I have spent the last 3 hours emptying out my office. I have filled a dumpster bin. It feel so empty and so good. I CANNOT wait to get my new carpet on Thursday.
2. I stopped at Target this morning and got a Graco Nautalus carseat for $80 (cheapest I have ever seen it is $140.) I am so excited. It'll be the last car seat we'll ever have to buy (well, after we buy a 2nd one!) We're going to another Target tonight to see if we can score another one (Carter is outgrowing his seat in our nanny's car - Gray still has 10lbs to go!)
3. We took the boys swimming for 2 hours last night after work. We are so sore from throwing/catching them. But they had a blast.
4. We are taking the kids to a Japanese steakhouse for my birthday tomorrow night. I am not sure they'll like the food - but I think they'll like the show.
5. I haven't done any actual work today. I guess I should do that this afternoon.
6. Our new nanny is going to be really good I think. The boys seem to like her and I think she'll fit in well with our family. It is a relief.
7. A kitten showed up at our door this morning. She is so friendly and so cute and wants into our house so badly. Nope. We have 2 cats already and 2 kids. We're done. If s/he is still there when I get home, I'll make posters and feed the cat. *sigh.*
8. I have been listening to gay boy club music while I clean. It was really motivating!
9. My kids are so cute sometimes it amazes me. Other times...not so much.
10. I need to eat lunch. I hope there is something good in the cafeteria. Off to eat lunch!
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. I have a very long to-do list with only a few things crossed off.
2. I work tonight and won't see K again until the morning
3. Apparently I burned the roof of my mouth, but I don't remember doing it.
4. School starts up again in 2 1/2 weeks and I'm simultaneously excited and sad.
5. K keeps putting in for promotions and the roller coaster ride of planning our immediate future is wearing on me.
6. Someone tried to order something from Victoriassecret with my name. Remember that commercial about identity theft? "It lifts and separates!"
7. In the past week and a half I traveled 8 hrs northwest to throw a baby shower for SIL then 8 back, then 5 hrs northeast to visit the other side of the family (and 5 back, of course). I'm glad to be done traveling for a while!
8. I think I have the worst willpower of any human. ever.
9. I can't wait for our friend to return from Kuwait. I worry about her everyday and she's hating being there (she says her deployment is a joke b/c she isn't armed and wears civilian clothes). I'm sorry, but if you're flying into Iraq everyday- I want you to be armed! Don't care so much about the clothing...
10. I often wonder if I'll be as good a teacher as I need to be. I also wonder if I'll even get a job! The job market for teachers around here is crap.
1. I have an RE appointment next Thursday.
2. We're not starting till Jan (i think) but I have to do the consult now or I'm going to lose it.
3. I have spent most of the last two days reading about babies.
4. Hence, I have 87 new messages and 285 old ones (ok, all but 100 of those are pretty old...)
5. I really kind of want a new job.
6. But we're probably moving next year anyway.
7. I sort of want to stop worrying and just TTC now.
8. I REALLY hope getting insurance coverage is as easy and the receptionist made it sound.
9. Really.
10. We should have put FSA money aside for sperm. oops.
I have been 're-connected'...*sigh*
1. i am so unfocused today.
2. i just want to go home.
3. we got some stuff done this week to start getting the nursery ready.
4. the only things we have left to do in the bathroom are sealing the floor tile and little details like hanging towel bars. so exciting!
5. she is getting really, really close to the third trimester.
6. closer than we realized.
7. she tried to mow the lawn yesterday while i was at the gym.
8. she got halfway through, then decided she's done for the year.
9. i think it's going to start storming again. just in time for my drive home.
10. i'm trying to get a 101 in 1001 list together. it's hard!
