When should i expect a return call??

I called our pcp's office to see if A's lab results were back from last friday's appointment.  The receptionist was busy and agreed to check and call me back. That was 2 1/2 hours ago. When should i start harassing them?  They are usually so awesome about stuff like this....

 I need this paperwork in hand by noon tomorrow

I would probably call at 1:30 or 2:00. Long enough to give them time after lunch to get it done, but not so long that if they haven't done it you'd be SOL. Do they know it's urgent?

Do they close from 12-1 for lunch?  I'd wait until about 4pm, but that's me.  If they are usually good with stuff I'm sure they'll get back to you by the end of the business day.

I'm not sure if they actually close for lunch, but i'm sure they take some kind of lunch break.  I do think they close at 4 today, though.  And, yes, they should know its urgent.  I'm sure i'm over reacting....but i expected her to call back within the next 10-15 minutes so the hours have felt really long.

 I know exactly what you mean - they say, "call you right back" and that sounds like SOON and then you wait...  I think 1:30/2:30 is good - like TWB said, give them time for lunch, but time to get it done if they haven't already when you call.
