Daniel Island?
I'm going to a wedding there this weekend. I've been to Charleston before, but never Daniel Island. The wedding is at the Daniel Island Club.
Can anyone tell me what Daniel Island is like?

Everyone has different taste, and everyone has an opinion about Daniel Island. Many people would say it is great because the entire thing is really upscale and beautiful.
Personally, I hate it. It is a very planned community. All the archetecture matches, everything is perfectly manicured, and the whole thing makes me feel like I have been shrunk and am stuck in one of those 3D models that show you what a community will look like when finished.
I realize some people really love it there, but it creepes me out.
I like it and think it's very pretty. There are some waterfront parks with swings that are lovely and cute little restaurants and cafes. I'm sure you will have fun. It's just a small island and only a couple minutes from downtown if ya'll want to venture there after the wedding.
