Ladies, It was incredible chisme!! Yep, the mod was banning vendors and turns out she was one on the side and then she was recommending vendors and getting kickbacks in upgrades. It was a lot of drama...but Oh so Juicy!!

What am i missing!!?!?!? I knew she was up to something... she was offering free invite designs and stuff (which is great help) but another knottie started doing the same thing and the MOD (i wonder who) Banned her from the knot.

I was wondering the same thing...crazy thing I logged in yesterday afternoon (which I have not done in forever) and posted a few things and went on this morning to see if anyone had replied and I find all this drama!!! From the little I read on the knot board its what Mari says...
Thats really sad if all of that drama is true because I loved the knot for all the help I recieved while I planned my wedding and always highly recommend the boards to whoever I know is engaged, but seriously if I was new to the knot today and went on and saw what I saw this morning I wouldn't even want any help...ugh!!! Who wants drama in there life?

all i could gather is that Michi seemed to be very adamant about not allowing vendors to post but then it turns out that a lot of brides had her make their invites for the wedding. Couldnt tell whether they paid for it or not. AND they were also talking a lot of crap about she would shamelessly plug her vendors and it seems like she was getting upgrades when she recommended people. I can't quite figure out where Justine fit into all of this. It was definitely entertaining. Some of those girls are FEISTY

I just went over there to peruse and I could feel the tension comming off of my monitor. I agree with Romigu, where did Justine come into all of this? From what I could tell, girls found out Michi was getting discounts, upgrades, whatever, based on knottie signups from her recommendations. Then there was a whole slew of ranting about the Colonaade and how girls were mad that she got a free upgrade to the Rotunda and other girls are complaining that they had a huge minimum or something.
Anyone else here happy that their biggest planning decision right now is baby making time or not baby making time?

Same here. The Knot was a just help to me while planning and I was able to meet a lot of great ladies, but there was always something going on. I guess when you put a whole bunch of overstressed, emotional women in one spot things can tend to get a little crazy from time to time.

Well...I hate my first post as a "nestie" to have to be like this "drama-related" but to clarify for you all this is the truth with my spin on things...which is what I shared with the local knotties.

Justine...it saddens me to think that after such a nice gesture and you sending me the nice message and wishes and putting our stuff behind us and be-friending me on FB, you would use it against someone unlawfully so at that since her relationship with me and my invitations for that matter was NOT business and did not entail any monies. ?I was very grateful that she designed such a BEAUTIFUL invitation that people have said is the most beautiful they have seen. ?Now why drag the girl down for her kind heart and generosity to me??

So I was forward this link by a fellow friend/knottie and I would like to share my thoughts....THE TRUTH!?FOR THE RECORD...PERFECTMOMENT2007 AND THE REST OF YOU NEW AND OLD KNOTTIES...Michi never charged me...I wanted to give her credit for the amazing work she did. She nor did my friend Diane charge me for the design of the invitations. They did is as a gift/favor for a friend.?
I am disappointed that someone would use our "FB friendship" and take personal/private websites that I included only for my "FB Friends" and post it on the net. Taking my personal information, only on my profile for the people I allow to view it and take it to wrongfully accusing someone (Michi) of being a "vendor" (granted I had her info under that tab for the sake of keeping all my wedding related items together, photo, video, travel agent, etc. together)?
I think you girls should consider that you may not know all the facts and wrongfully accusing someone of something that you all do not know to be true 100% is not right. I was also told that you all were upset about her being gifted the Rotunda, perhaps the venue bumped her up and offered it to her as a kind gesture. Just like if you stay at a hotel at times if the hotel has vacancy they may bump you to a better room or suite, or when traveling bump you to first class (both which I personally have experienced), same thing with the Rotunda...it is August, as we all know slow/dead season for South Florida, perhaps the room was free and rather it being empty they offered it to her at the Merrick Ballroom cost...they are making money anyway! Point is WE DO NOT KNOW! Just like you all did not know about the truth of her doing my invitations...just as she has designed plenty of other knotties logos, invitations and such from the kindness of her heart!!!?
Those are my $0.02. I hope you all find it in your hearts/minds to think before you speak.?

I have to say, some of the new knotties are freaking hysterical.
a lot of drama, even i could not handle it i had to say something. And i am not suppose to be on the knot.
A lot of things happened and some i do agree with. Michi is very nice and sweet, but some things just pissed me off.
