Finding a job in the St. Louis area
Hi girls!!! I posted on this board a while back about my family (DH, 2 dogs and I) moving to St. Charles sometime this year... I've sold the house I was waiting on and our lease is due in September... So I'm ready to start looking for a job there... I work as a Quality Engineer (degree in Electronic Engineering), and I have experience in the automotive and the medical device industries... We're NOT looking for a relocation package (if the company has one, it would be GREAT, but we're willing to pay for that ourselves)... I've heard that 99% of people hire locally, so we're trying to get my DH's friend's address to post my resume with it, and hopefully that will help... Do you have any other tips or recommendations? Do you know a recruiter that you can refer me to? How hard is it to find a job out there? Thanks in advance,
