Hi everyone! I got married almost two years ago now and was on the St. Louis knot board quite a bit back then, but then got married and moved down to Tampa.
Well, our West Coast Florida board is lame! And we're planning on making our way back to St. Louis when DH finished up his graduate work, so I decided I'm going to start hanging out on this board a little more now!
What's going on in St. Louis lately? We're going up to visit family next weekend, and I'm so excited! I'm so homesick!!! I miss BBQ and the Cards!
Just wanted to say hi!
Re: Hi girls!
Welcome back to the Saint Louis Board! Not much going on in Saint Louis, lets see...
* HWY 40 is still shut down, but seems to be working okay with traffic and such (for the most part that is...),
* The zoo just put out a bulliten or a "plan" to expand / upgrade several areas in the zoo in the next few years to come...
* Traffic is still horrible at rush hour..Gas is between 3.75-4.00 depending on what side of the river you are.
* There will be 25+ concerts at riverport this summer (holy cow!)...which by the way got re-named again, it's now Verizon Wireless Amp. - Saint Louis, run by live nation. blah.
That's about all off the top of my head...
GO CARDINALS!!!!!
Thanks for the updates! I have to tell you - I am NOT sad that I'm not there for the years that 40 is shut down! Yuck! And that makes me very happy that they're expanding the Zoo, as long as they don't start charging admission! The zoo here is not nearly as great as St. Louis, and you have to pay something like $15-20 to get in!
It's definitely not our board planning Nestie prom.... must be Central! Sounds like fun! Let's plan a St. Louis one in a couple years!
