Hey Girls!
I am in the process of changing my name. I went to the DMV and SS and got those done. Now it's time to change my name with the banks and credit cards.
What's the best way to change your name on a credit card? Online or phone? Just wondering because I don't see anything on Visa. Either I haven't looked hard enough or I have to do it another way.
Thanks!

First of all, congrats on the weddding. When I changed my name, after going to SS and DMV, I called each individual credit card and informed them of the change. They sent me an updated CC rather quickly.
Also, in order to change the name on the title of your car, you have to go to the tag agency with proof. I don't believe there is a way to change over the phone/internet.
And to change the deed on your house, you'll have to complete and file a ton of paperwork. I ended just leaving it as is until we refinanced.
