Any recs for San Diego movers?
Re: Any recs for San Diego movers?
Check out this site. It has ratings and warnings of who to use and who to avoid. You can read reviews about a particular company. This is how we chose our company. There are many, many really bad moving companies out there.

We just did a local move this weekend (a whole 7 blocks!) and we used Starving Students.
They were on time and professional. They had all our stuff loaded and unloaded in about 3 hours.
We moved on a monday-I would highly recommend that you move on a weekday since most of the moving companies charge LESS for weekdays.
We ended up paying $294 for the move and that was for 3.25 hours of time @ $75 a hour, the 20% fuel surcharge, and double drive time (thats the .25 since the actual drive time was about 4 minutes). They waived the plastic wrap charge (they will wrap up your furniture) since they only used it on a few items.
