Visiting Madison
I will be going to Madison for business and will have one day from noon on where I am free. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do. I will have a car. Should I make the trip up to the Dells? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Will have Friday afternoon free and will be staying near campus but again I have a car.

If you have not been to Madison before, spend the afternoon on State Street and the surrounding area. The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is free and on State. The Capitol is at one end of State and it has free tours.
I recommend lunch at Cafe Soleil or The Old Fashioned right across from the Capitol.
Have a beer and Babcock Hall Ice Cream at the Memorial Union Terrace.
