Tonight, finishing the kitchen paint, tomorrow yard & bday party for my 8 yr old cousins, sunday...not sure!
This weekend is the final push in our insane summer schedule. Tonight we are going to a John Legend concert, then tomorrow, up bright and early to fly to WV. We are spending a few days with C's family on a farm that some of them recently purchased. I am SO not the farm type, so it should be interesting(!), but it will be great to spend some time with her family, and there's a town nearby that looks super cute (think little cafes and antique shops - right up my alley!).
So we'll be there until Tuesday afternoon. Then we have Wednesday off from work to recover and relax.
CT - this weather is great!! I want to be outside!!! Perfect for our outdoor concert tonight!

As i type, BIL is dropping off his dogs at our house who we'll be watching for the week so this evening will likely include a trip to the dog park since its just way too crazy to walk 3 dogs. There's also been some talk of meeting up with friends for happy hour so that may also be in the plans as well.
Tomorrow morning i'll probably head into the office (grrrr!) and in the evening we're heading up to MA for a yearly summer party tradition. is a HUGE party hosted by family friends involving lots of drinking and food. its nuts (honestly a little too nuts for me by 1am which is why we dont stay over). but it'll be great to see family and friends we havent in a while.
sunday will be another trip to the dog park and the usual errands/housework.

Tonight a memorial service for a co worker....very sad
Tomorrow great bagels at a yummy local place followed by the b-day party of our favorite 4 year old (that's right, the lesbians are invading build-a-bear) then home for an afternoon of cleaning and a reward movie after the cleaning is done.
Sunday sleeping in and seeing a dear friend who is visiting, then ripping up the nasty green carpet after she leaves in preparation for FINALLY getting the floors refinished in two weeks.
Looks like lots of travel for everyone this weekend!
We're no exception. My cousin is getting married in DC, so we're heading down there tomorrow and spending the night. Sunday we get to sleep in (woo-hoo!) and head to a brunch the bride and groom are having at their apartment. Trav's sweetie-pie coworker is watching Daisy for us, so we don't have to worry about rushing back to grab her from a boarding place. It should be a lot of fun... I can't wait to see family!
Monday we both have off (ultrasound in the afternoon), and I'm really looking forward to having a lazy morning together!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
Tonight I think that we'll go to dinner at our favorite Mexican place. L is going to take the rails of off the boys cribs and convert them to toddler beds. They are so excited to have "big boy beds"!
Tomorrow we are going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then to the beach. Once again, they are so excited! In the evening we are going to a local downtown area to have dinner (free entree coupon!), let the kids play in the fountain, and go to Whole Foods to get stuff for Sunday.
Sunday - We'll clean/grocery shop in the morning. After the kids nap, some friends are coming over to BBQ/hang out. Should be fun.
Well K is out of town so I have the whole entire weekend to myself! :-) I'm tempted to let yard work slide but then I know I'll only be making it harder on myself when I do eventually mow the lawns. So here's my tentative plan:
Tonight - veg on the couch
Saturday - mow the lawns, go to the library, and then take the dogs for a walk
Sunday - since we're supposed to have thunder storms I think I'll rent cheesy movies and curl up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn
Well I actually have something other than hospital home and repeat. Tonight we are meeting friends at the hospital (ok so part of the plan is the same!) and then we are going out to dinner. My good friends are getting married in CT next weekend and we are taking them out with some other friends for dinner to celebrate since S and I can't go to the wedding. I am sad to miss it since I am sure it will be tons of fun but can't leave the wee one and the wedding is in Norwalk just to far to go for the wedding.
Sat S is starting a painting job for the people I used to nanny for. They are painting the girls room, the study and the parent's bedroom. This will give us some cash and will be some needed stress reliever for S who finds painting calming. Katie is at camp and we want to get it done before she returns since it is her birthday gift.
Sunday friends are coming to the hospital to meet Ella and to bring us a picnic lunch.
I am sure some grandparents will come and visit at some point this weekend. Oh and doing laundry I know that babies make a ton of laundry but who thought a baby in the hospital would make a load of laundry every few days. I think the nurses like to dress Ella up in different outfits and blankets since I swear we come in every day and and her laundry bad has 2 outfits and a couple of blankets in there. She does look cute in her outfits though.
i am having a crappy, crappy end of the work week. i can't wait to get out of here.
i'm going to the gym after work, then home for a quick shower before we head out to meet up with some friends and go to the japanese steakhouse for dinner.
tomorrow will be interesting. we're going to c's brother's house for his daughter's 3rd b-day party. he doesn't even know she's pregnant yet. really not looking forward to it, and i'm kind of glad she's not showing too much yet and frankly am hoping they don't notice. i'm really not in the mood to deal with hearing about how terrible of sinners we are right now and might just go off.
after we're done at her brother's house we'll either be heading home or to the house of some friends of ours for a swim. sunday i'm not sure.
Oh boy, what a situation. I hope it goes okay, whether they notice or not. Do you plan to tell them at all before the babe arrives?
