Did I miss the post? What did you end up giving your DH for your 4th (flowers or fruit) wedding Anny gift? I hope it was not the 2 books I suggested. Lol.
How is the foster parenting going?
Re: ~*~*lilmufish*~*~
No, you didn't miss a post, I guess I forgot to post about it...
We were going to give each other fruit trees but we still haven't agreed on one (LOL). Almost 3 months later and we're still discussing, we're geeks like that.
I surprised with him with a day of relaxation...started at the botantical gardens (FLOWERS) - we walked around, relaxed, etc (Pics in my blog)...then, we went to lunch in downtown St Charles at winery of the little hills. (Wine = FRUIT). It was very low key and just nice to spend time with each other
We are not fostering yet, we're STILL going through the process to be licensed. - It takes several months! We're in week 7 of our required 9 week PRIDE classes, and then we have a 4 week SPAULDING class we'll need to take too. Good news is that we've already taken CPR classes, references are in, background checks are in, etc. We're also about 3/4 of our way into our Home study... so we're getting there! Hopefully this spring we'll start fostering Thanks for asking! It's nice to feel supported.
Today I went out shopping for more kiddo stuff...It's hard to buy clothes though because I have no idea what ages will be in our home (between infant and six)...and since the children might/probaly will take clothes home with them it's hard for me to decide how much money to spend, etc.
How are you? Life going well for you?
Sounds like everything is progressing nicely. I am really excited for you, and this Spring is not that far away. As for clothing, you may have already, but the Good Will, Old Navy, resell it shops or garage sales would be a good place to look.
YG PM! Or at least you will once I finish typing it. ;c )
Oh, I'm all about the sales
IN the next two months here are two big kids' mania sales going on if anyone else is reading this is interested...
JBF - http://www.jbfsale.com - they have several sales around the STL area throughout the year. You can find some *really* good deals.
StorkLady - http://www.storklady.net/ - Happens twice a year
