  • I was gone a few days...just now trying to catch up on any posts I missed and all I can say is WOW!!!  Pep - you have some nerve.  To even remotely suggest medicating a child, or a BABY in this case, 365 days a year without knowing the long term effects is just insane to me.  If you would have read her OP and the posts leading up to yours, you would see that she's not just tossing her pets aside with an "all or nothing" attitude...in fact, knowing her personally and knowing what she's going through and has already gone through to try to remedy this situation, it only shows just how much she loves her pets.  It saddens me to think that anyone would consider her to be an irresponsible pet owner.  What classifies her as such?  Because she's actively looking for a solution including possibly rehoming the cats with someone she KNOWS or fostering.  Instead she's supposed to FORCE FEED her child medication on a nightly basis?  Are you kidding me?
