Any opinions on EECU?

Hi gals,

I'm investigating whether or not to open some accounts at EECU.  Anyone have any opinions about the bank?

Thanks!

Re: Any opinions on EECU?

  • We've had EECU for years & haven't had any problems with them.  It's the 2nd credit union I've used & personally I prefer them to regular banks.  My experience has been that they just seem a lot more customer friendly.  They don't have as many locations & ATMs as a large bank would, but that hasn't bothered me b/c you can do so much online these days.

  • DH and I use EECU. We have also not had any problems with them. Very friendly staff. I recommend you to EECU.
  • I haven't joined but lots of my teacher friends have and they like it.  I am already a member of two credit unions so I decided to not have a membership at yet a third one.  However, I do like the credit union experience as a whole.  It has always seemed a little more personal than a bank.
  • I am not a member of EECU. But I do like credit unions, as others have said. I think (generally) they have better loan rates and savings act. rates and things like that then a bank. And they are always more personal I think (even though I do all of mine on line).
