I paid $10 for my last haircut but it was rolled into a perm ($35/$40) and so I paid like $50 for everything. Located on Merrick Blvd in Jamaica (old nabe) and it was a Dominican salon/stylist. I think I will still go to that salon even though I have moved. Price and quality can't be beat. But I see some good salons in Astoria too.

I used to go to an old co-workers daughter's house. Used to because she raised her prices (she does it out of her basement for cry'n out loud) and is just too far (by the Verrazano bridge here in SI). So, I spend just the same (about 40something) at a local salon (Makeovers) a lot closer to my house. I really can't complain too much about the price tho' 'cause I get a haircut like once a year. LMAO

I keep changing salons, but the latest one I went to is La Mer here in Brooklyn, and I think my haircut was $30? The last time I went was at least 3 or 4 months ago, I really need to start going more regularly. Oh, and the stylist's name is Natasha.

I think it is $60 at Renegade here in Forest Hills on Austin St. I am now seeing Arthur and he is great. 2 of my friends see him and adore him and sent me.
