I think I passed by the Scuffletown Barn the other night.  Is it a redbarn that looks like it's in the woods, kind of set back a little?   On Scuffletown Rd?  I was on that road Friday night on my way to Bells Creek Subdivison and remember there was a sign that said something about dancing lessons (I think it was dark, so I could be wrong).

  • Haha I'll jump in here, that sounds like the place!  It's really near my house.  Have you ever been to my house LIAngel?

  • Yes that's the place!

The people who own the place also sell like mulch and everything else under the sun, and we do dancing down on the end.

If you ever want to try it, we do the lessons on Saturday from 7-:7:30 (and we often continue teaching all night if there are requests).

  • ama, you should start a post and see if there is enough interest to do a nestie night with lots of lessons for those of us who are clueless.

Nope never been to your house.  Someone from my mom's group lives in Bells Creek though.  I cross over Jonesville Rd to get to her house.  Not sure where you are in reference to that.

  • I can talk to my husband and see if we can do something earlier on a Saturday (we technically only rent the building out once a week).  I'll see what all we can do.

We'll also have to see if we have to have our usual dance instructor come, or if we can do the teaching ourselves (which my husband does a great job!)
