I survived tax free weekend
Holy moly! Okay the ONLY reason I ventured out to Target was to get baby formula and baby food and laundry detergent. Oy vey! It's enough of a pain taking DS with me. I said "okay Nicholas we are taking our life into our hands".
We get to Target and woweeee! Thank goodness we didn't have to go anywhere near the school supply stuff or clothes. Just went right to the baby food section, got what we needed and were outta there!
Whew! That's one good thing about shopping with a baby, not much time to dilly dally- so I can't spend money unnecessarily (he lets me know when it's time to go by getting fussy).

Re: I survived tax free weekend
It is really sad what you go through to save a measly 6%!
I would have prefered to shop last weekend when Dillards had a "save an additional 30% off sale and clearance items sale". I got a $195 watch for my husband for $40!!!! If I had waited until this week, it would have been a lot more money.
Well if DH didn't WASTE a WHOLE container of formula, I wouldn't have had to go out. Totally mixed it all wrong, can of formula lasts 5 days. He used too much powder and not enough water. so a 5 day supply dwindled to 2 days . Formula does not grow on trees. was not happy with that. DH got "Mixing Formula 101" that night.
