FL bumpie back from SC trip

Just wanted to say thanks again for your help.  I asked for recommendations before.  I went with DH, DS and our dog.  We stayed for 3 nights on our way up to VA and 1 night on the way back.  We went to the aquarium, which DS loved, Ft. Sumter and just walked around the city.  I ended up being pregnant on the trip and I was so tired.  I really wanted to see a plantation but was too tired.  We ate at Hominy Grill and The Boulevard.  The first night we ate at Hominy (good grits), and then we got take out the next night b/c I was so tired and DS was being crabby b/c he was teething.  DS had grits for the first time and loved them!  DH had the shrimp and grits, which he said was good.  I normally love seafood but hate it when I'm pregnant so I didn't get to eat any seafood while we were there.  I know we'll be back though.  We stayed at the Residence Inn Riverview and liked it.  It was a close drive to everything, and it was quiet and clean, which was nice.

For the 1 night trip, we couldn't get into the Residence Inn so we stayed at the Indigo Inn.  We checked it out the first trip.  It was nice and surprisingly quiet.  Taking out the dog wasn't quite as easy here compared to Residence Inn but it was fine.  We ate at Jestine's.  It was really good, esp. for a pregnant lady!  I just want unhealthy food in the first trimester b/c of m/s.

Everyone is so nice in Charleston.  It was hot but it felt cooler than home. But I think the mosquitoes were worse than home!  They're vicious there.

I kept everyone's recommendations for the next time we go.  Thanks again!
