What car insurance do you have?
I have Geico. Which one do you have? Anyone have Save Auto? If so do you like it?
Re: What car insurance do you have?
Well currently we have State Farm but they are super expensive! So we are switching to Erie Insurance. I have asked on the money board about them and 11 people responded and they all said the same thing, they are good. And they are extremely inexpensive! We are going to get home and auto through them for $775/year less then what we currently pay!
And can I just say that I think it is awesome that you are waiting until the baby is born to find out the gender...I don't think I could do it! But I am extremely impatient!
I second Erie. We've had them now for a few years and have had great experiences with them.
DH was involved in an accident that was the other driver's fault. Even though it had nothing to do with our insurance or our Erie rep, he helped my husband work through all the paperwork, understand what was going on (give us a realistic expectation of timelines) and help clarify what he was signing. He really didn't need to help us at all, but he was very proactive in making sure that the other party's insurance agency was taking care of us fairly.
Erie's rates are competitive with other agencies that we looked at. We went with them because of multiple recommendations and the comfort we felt with our local agent. We have our car and homeowners insurance through them, and will probably soon buy life insurance through them.
I also have to second that I've heard horrible things about Safe Auto if you are ever involved in an accident.
